What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is transferred through the hands of the practitioner to the patient to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Reiki reduces stress and anxiety and promotes relaxation through gentle touch. It also works well if done virtually by phone or zoom.

What is Energy Healing?
Similar to Reiki, energy healing is based on the belief that there is a vital energy that flows through the human body and the goal is to balance the energy flow in the patient. Energy healing often has the effect of reducing stress and anxiety and promotes well-being.
What is Biofield Tuning?
Our biofield is our body’s entire electrical system comprising the electric current that runs through it and the magnetic field that surrounds it. Biofield tuning is a therapy that works by sound and directly interacts with the body’s biofield, allowing for connection with our conscious and subconscious mind.
Tuning forks work by picking up resistance or distortions in the field that relate to potential dysfunction in the body. They can then be used to “harmonize” or “balance” these distortions.
What is medical intuition and how is it done?
Medical intuition done by Tammy is not diagnosing a disease or condition. It is done by tuning to your body’s energy and receiving information about patterns that currently exist in your body. If you decide to choose this service, Tammy will do a head-to-toe medical intuitive check in and then provide you with a recording within 2 weeks after the service is ordered.
How should I prepare for a session?
Ideally, you would be able to lie down (if the session is remote), in a quiet room, away from loud noises or distractions. Make sure you are hydrated and use the bathroom before your session. If possible, remove Wifi enabled devices from your person and clothes and place off to the side.
What should I do after a session?
It would be good to stay hydrated after a session – with plenty of water. Limit overprocessed or heavy foods and excessive amounts of alcohol if possible.
Is Reiki safe for kids?
Reiki is very gentle and non-invasive. It can lower anxiety, restlessness, and fear by creating a sense of peace and calm.
Kids often enjoy reiki in person or at a distance because it helps to calm them down and some even take a nap during a session. Reiki can also bring about a sense of clarity and direction which can help those with ADHD.
Can Reiki be given at a distance?
Reiki, energy work, and Biofield Tuning work just as well at a distance as they do in-person. I hold the intention that the client is entering my treatment room. I greet them and have them lay on my table as if they are with me. I sign in with my Reiki/healing guides and set the intention for healing. As humans sharing a collective experience, we are sharing universal energy which can be transmuted across locations, times, and space.
